MA Beklen Çağrı

Çağrı Beklen completed his training in classical composition and jazz guitar in Vienna. In 2001 he founded the band 'Details' and worked as a guitarist, bass guitarist and arranger with musicians from different cultures in Austria, both live and in the studio. He began composing theater music in 2006 and received several awards for his work in the following years, including “Michelangelo” (2012), “Sessizlik” (2013), “V. Frank” (2015), “Eğer Bu Bir Film Olsaydı” (2015), “Kundakçı” (2017), “Coriolanus” (2017) and “Üç Kız Kardeş” (2017). He worked as a lecturer at Kocaeli University from 2012 to 2016. Since 2018 he has been teaching film composition at the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna and is also the director of the classical music competition “Classic Pure Vienna”. In addition, Çağrı Beklen continues his musical activities both as a solo artist and with his band Beklen Band, which he founded together with his wife Tuğba.
